CURRENT RESEARCH TOPICS

The approach followed by our research group is based on investigating the property-structure relationship of nano- and multi-scale polymer composite materials including chemical functionalization of nanostructures, composite fabrication, testing and modelling, with particular interest on carbon nanostructures. Mechanical, electrical, thermal, physico-chemical, piezoresistive, thermoresistive and other tests are conducted and predictive analytical and numerical models are developed to better understand the observed behaviour.
