FLORA DE LA PENÍNSULA DE YUCATÁN
Pectis L., ca 80 especies distribuidas desde Norteamérica hasta Sudamérica, en las Antillas e Islas Galápagos. Común en regiones áridas y semiáridas como desiertos, matorrales espinosos, pastizales, sabanas o a lo largo de caminos, 59 especies en México y 4 en el área de la flora.
